To provide services for women,
children and men that will empower them to make more informed choices. These
services include emotional support, counseling, information, referrals, and
educational workshops within the community.
Our Goals and Objectives
shall be:

To provide crisis intervention for situations related to family
violence that may arise in the community of

To provide continuing support and referral to all persons by
providing them with options and empowering them to make more informed choices.

To provide public education and awareness on various social
issues to the community to establish and/or strengthen social interaction and
support within the community.

To provide advocacy and support to clients through the resource
library.
·
To support and network with all agency and organizations with
similar goals.
·
To ensure all contacts with clients are confidential by
adherence to the center’s “Declaration of Confidentiality” except as required
by law.
How to become a board
member
The Snow Lake Resource Centre
is looking for dedicated individuals interested in becoming board
members. The board of directors meets monthly to discuss matters of
importance regarding the operation of the centre. As a member, you have
an important role in the provision of valuable social services within our
community, such as: counseling, crisis intervention, health and resource
library. If you would like to help and have a few hours a month to share,
